We hope everyone has a happy and safe spring break. We look forward to seeing everyone on April 2nd.
Our Book a Night Program has been a great success! We have many students who have read 50 and 75 books. Each time they reach a goal of 50, 75, 100 and 125 they receive a certicate and a prize of a pencil or bookmark. Their photo is also added to the Book a Night bulletin board. Congratulations to all the students who continue to read each night and a very big thank you to all family members who take the time to read to the children.
We would also like to thank FUND 69 who funded all our books and the book bags!!!
Happy Birthday Dr. Suess! We are having so much fun reading Dr. Suess books.

Our Philosophy
We believe that children are able and eager learners! Here at TOPS we support our student's needs for multi-sensory learning, meaningful activities and are advocates for the importance of play, as we focus on literacy. Throughtout play children develop imaginations, learn to collaborate, problem solve, share, negotiate, identify feelings of themselves and others. Children learn to formulate questions, test theories and become commanders of their own world. We understand that for many of our students this is their first school experience. We want our students to know they are in a safe and nuturing environment. Our classroom is filled with developmentally appropriate activities that will enrich their learning while they are here. Through our daily hands-on activities and play-based approach we hope to positively influence each student and to instill a love of learning as they begin their educational journey.
