5th grade music is learning the G7 chord on the ukulele.  We are ready to play songs that use three chords and have started up our Ukulele Club at recess on Tuesdays!

Lincoln Orchestra rehearsals will start at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, August 22, the first day of school.  Students should bring their instruments.  We will also have a parent meeting to explain the changes to the Ensemble program at Lincoln on August 28 at 6:30.  See you there!

All 6th and 7th graders who play in band or orchestra will be playing at Lincoln Junior High's 8th grade graduation on Tuesday, May 29 at 5:00.  Students should wear black and white and should arrive at Niles West High School by 4:30 PM.

Edison's Spring Sing will be held outside on the lawn on Wednesday, May 30 at 6:00 PM.  Our theme is the Power of Song, and we feature third fourth and fifth grade singers.  It should be a great show and we look forward to seeing everyone there!

Mrs. Peters has uploaded three Beatles songs to her youtube account:  JABPeters.  Fifth graders are learning these songs for their Spring Sing.  They might have fun singing along with Mrs. Peters and her piano accompaniment.  The three songs are:  Let It Be, Yesterday and When I'm 64.  Have fun!
