7th Grade Language Arts

Welcome to 7th grade language arts! This will be the third year that the Lincoln language arts department has utilized our curriculum, which is based around the Prentice Hall Literature series. This series will be used again at all grade levels to help teach the skills outlined by the Common Core Standards as well as the Illinois Learning Standards. The series allows teachers to provide students with the best instruction for their individualized reading and writing needs. We are also moving into full implementation of a complement to the series called Writing Coach, a groundbreaking, interactive writing and grammar program that helps middle school students grow into independent writers. We are looking forward to another great year!
