Welcome to Room 125!
Wow! We are nearing the end of third grade and we are still learning so much! We will be starting Treasures Unit 6 and the theme is Storytellers, these are stories with great morals and lessons. We will read "Stone Soup", "The Strongest One" and "Tales of the Trickster." It is going to be a fantastic ending to our reading journey this year!
Math is an exciting part of the day! We are using a new program this year called "My Math." So far we have learned about fractions, measurement, area and perimeter, and our next chapter will be geometry! Please remember that it is important to practice basic math facts for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at home. Third grade math is becoming more challenging and it is essential that students are prepared. Look below for helpful and fun websites for learning math facts!
