Please join us on Sunday June 2, 2013 for the second annual Bicycle Safety Day/Carter Vo Memorial Bike Ride or Walk.
On May 21, 2012, Madison student Carter Vo was tragically killed while riding his bicycle on the sidewalk. He was only two blocks from his grandfather's home. Join us on June 2nd for the Second Annual Carter Vo Memorial Bike Ride and Safety Day. Biking is a healthy activity for families and bicycle safety is important. Not only is it important to wear a helmet, but helmets must be fitted properly in order to be effective. Join us as we gather to celebrate Carter's life and to encourage Skokie children to ride their bikes safely.

Through the generous sponsorship of Michael Silver & Company, the Evanston Bicycle Club and Evanston Subaru, 200 Children’s Bicycle helmets will be given on a first-come-first-served basis. Show up between 9:00 and 9:30 to get a free children’s helmet.
