Evanston Art Center - Summer 2012 Youth Art Classes & Camps

Get messy and have fun with art! The Evanston Art Center offers unique art education experiences for children to learn and better understand the visual arts through hands-on art making activities in a variety of media. We offer week-long camps for ages 6-8, 9-11, 12-14 and regular youth classes from ages 4-13.

In addition to our youth summer sessions, the EAC offers an exciting collection of spring-term classes for youth and high school students that are designed to inspire and encourage the artist within. Exploring creative expression through crafts with pastels, water colors, and paints in Art Explorers (ages 3-4/5-6); using a range of design and sewing techniques to make ordinary t-shirts extraordinary in T-Shirt 101 (ages 10-13); and gaining film-making abilities while producing videos, music videos and documentaries in Video on the Go! are just a few of the ways in which our Youth Fine Arts students can develop their creative talents at the EAC this coming spring!
