Mission:

We are a parent and community member organization started last year by parents of fine arts students.

Our mission/purpose is to support and enhance the district’s fine arts programs by:

1. highlighting and advocating for the needs of the programs, including needs of teachers, parents and students;
2. fund-raising to fund program enrichments that are not basic to the curriculum;
3. coordinating and encouraging parent and community volunteers for the fine arts programs; and
4. fostering greater student involvement in and appreciation of fine arts.

Accomplishments

Our accomplishments to date include: successfully advocating for the new sound system at Lincoln and for needed instrument repair and maintenance, raising over $800, hosting post-performance receptions for fine arts students and beginning the process to become a not-for-profit 5013c organization.

Support FAB

All parents and community members interested in supporting the district’s fine arts programs are most welcome and encouraged to join us. There is no fee to join and you do not have to have a child in one of the programs.
