The 1998 Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

The anonymous "School Violence Tip-Line" (800/477-0024) is available for students to report threats of guns or weapons at school. In order to better protect your children, District 69 is sharing some general guidelines on Internet Safety.

Discounted Software - District 69 families interested in purchasing Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products for student use are eligible for discounted prices through the Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Plan. The Illinois Learning Technology Purchase Program (ILTPP) was jointly developed by the Learning Technology Centers and the Regional Offices of Education and Intermediate Service Centers in response to needs assessment information provided by district personnel from around the state and in no way reflects District 69 sponsoring or endorsing any company, product, or service.

Verification of affiliation with District 69 will be required. Acceptable forms of verification (one required) are:
- Current student report card or progress report
- Dated student ID card
- Dated current class schedule
