My name is Julie Anderson and I am a third grade teacher at Edison School. Having grown up in Skokie, I feel very fortunate to be able to serve the community that has helped shape me into the person I am today. After attending Niles West High School, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in Elementary Education. I also have a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and an endorsement to teach English Language Learners.
I passionately believe that each and every child can and will learn when a climate of acceptance and high expectations is established for every student. Creating a positive learning environment that promotes social interaction and exploration is important in my classroom. I believe that a classroom bustling with excitement and conversation between students is a classroom filled with engaged and motivated learners.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child.
