All District 69 after school activities are canceled for today, February 9, 2010. As of the posting of this notice (noon Tuesday, February 9th), school will be in session tomorrow, Wednesday, February 10th. Remember that when schools are open during inclement weather, it is the parents' decision whether or not to send their child to school.

     About Edison
    Edison School was built in 1956 and, while physically located in Morton Grove, Illinois, primarily services children from Skokie. Therefore, we have the best of both worlds. We are able to draw on the resources of two great communities that both reach out to their residents' needs.

    The Edison community is very culturally diverse. About 200 of our 500 students speak foreign languages at home and represent countries from all over the world. The Edison community works together to make people of all nations and backgrounds feel comfortable and welcome in our school. We are proud of our Edison Spirit!
